Level 2 Award In Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private SecurityIndustry


This regulated qualification has been developed to meet  the requirements of the SIA and  provides the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.


Subjects covered include behavioural standards, legislation relevant to the role, search procedures, powers of arrest, recording incidents and crime preservation, reducing risk, conflict management and communicating effective


This qualification is delivered over a minimum of four days. Remote delivery of this course available (4 days online + 2 days face to face).

Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work


The Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification (EFAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that there is no requirement for a fully trained first aider for their workplace. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2015 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981. 


This course must be at least 6 contact hours and run over a minimum of 1 day and the certificate is valid for 3 years.

Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (RQF)


This qualification covers how to safeguard and protect children, young people and practitioners in the workplace as well as how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused.


Duties are placed on a range of organisations to ensure they have regard to the need to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. This includes the need for appropriate safeguarding training, as employers are responsible for ensuring staff are competent to carry out their responsibilities towards the safeguarding of children and young people.


This qualification can be used to support the training of employees.

Level 2 Award in Working as a CCTV Operator


This regulated qualification provides the  necessary skills and knowledge for this wishing to apply for an SIA licence to work as a CCTV operative. It has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).


Subjects covered include roles and responsibilities of CCTV operators, codes of practice, operational procedures and guidelines, CCTV equipment and operation and surveillance techniques.


 

This qualification is delivered over a minimum of 3 days or 4 days remotely.

Level 3 Award in Child and Infant Paediatric First Aid (12 hours)


This course meets and exceeds the requirements laid down by Ofsted, EYFS and SureStart for people needing a 2 day 12 contact hour first aid course for Adult, infant and child. This group includes childminders and carers. Our Paediatric courses are approved by most councils across the UK.

Level 2 Award In Working as a Security Officer within the Private SecurityIndustry


This regulated qualification has been developed to meet  the requirements of the SIA and  provides the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Sucurity Guard within the Private Security Industry.


Subjects covered include the importance of safe working practices to comply with legal requirements, the role of a security officer, the law relevant to the role of a security officer, how to recognise, assess and reduce risk in conflict situations and good practice following conflict situations.


This qualification is delivered over a minimum of four days. Remote delivery of this course available

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work


The First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification (FAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2015 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981.


This course must be at least 18 contact hours and run over a minimum of 3 days.The certificate is valid for 3 years.

Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders


The law requires alcohol sales on licensed premises to be made or authorised by a personal licence holder. Individuals applying for a personal licence must hold a regulated licensing qualification, such as the

HABC Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (QCF).


This regulated qualification is ideal for those working in, or preparing to work in, any industry that involves the retail sale of alcohol and who wishes to become a personal licence holder.


Subjects covered include the purpose of a personal licence, the application process, legal duties of a personal licence and licensing law. 


Online learning with paper based or remotely invigilated exam option available.
